Great location, you can choose to either head into the busier section to see the houses etc or just paddle up stream to see the beautiful scenery. I can't remember her name, but the lady that helped us on the day was really helpful and welcoming. We paid a little bit more than a couple of other places but the flexibility on time and service made it worthwhile.

Very enjoyable. Well organised once you realise it's self service and the importance of watching the video to the end even if it seems very basic for anyone who has canoed before! - I should have read the booking email properly!

A very pleasant 2 days, including a night in their "wildwood" camp site, was unfortunately ruined by the owner deciding to retain our £200 security deposit. This was because a member of our group went for a pee in a field (surrounded by cows who were also having quite copious wees, although they were presumably also fined by the canoeman) mid route, witnessed from some distance by a particularly petty local. Our attempts to reason with the owner - for of course, he did not provide any loos on route for this 2-day kayak - fell on deaf ears. Originally we thought we would laugh it off but over time the injustice - the canoeman making £200 of our hard-earned money because of so silly an incident - has rankled and we have opened a complaint with the Broads Authority and trading standards. So whilst I would recommend them as an operator, certainly do not give them any of your money until the trip is over - because they will not behave fairly or reasonably if you need the loo!

We had a wonderful time hiring a Canoe at Wroxham. We booked on the day, and they accommodated us quickly with everything we needed. The equipment was great and the scenery was stunning. Next time we're in the Broads we'll definitely be hiring from The Canoe Man again.

Fabulous little shop full of tatt 😁. Some lovely items as souvenirs of your trip to the Norfolk Broads. Sensible prices and the gent serving me was friendly and pleasant. Definitely worth popping in if you are in the area. Who doesn't want a fridge magnet with a picture of a motorhome on it ? Loved this shop.

Booked online it cost £60 for two 2 person canoes. Found them easy to use and life vests, paddles and a dry bag all supplied. We had 2 hours of peace and tranquility on the Broads before returning to Wroxham to return the canoes and a well deserved pint at the pub next to the river. There was a guy there from thecanoeman and he was great most helpful and a lovely guy. Well recommended I will go again myself in the future.

Amazing experience! We kayaked at Wroxham, such a helpful man who helped us into the kayaks and told us a beautiful route to go on. We had a first time kayaker with us in the group and he loved it too! 100% recommend this company. Will definitely be retuning:)) thank you again!!

Booking and pick-up/drop-off process was simple. Everything was ready for when we arrived (we were early). We were met by a member of staff who made sure we were OK with everything. Paddled towards Coltishall on a nice sunny day and avoided most of the motor boats. Perfect.

Excellent servie. Easy to book online. Colin was great at the launch site. It was lovely and relativly quiet going up the watercourse. Only thing would be if it was clearer where we could stop to have our bite to eat. Some direction around that would have been good.
